Job Description
- Installing new heavy equipment vehicle wiring systems.
- Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding and monitoring of the heavy equipment’s and other related equipment and carry out the tasks assigned
- Ensure maximum operational availability of heavy equipment by diagnostic work and repair methods
- Carry out duties independently when called out and report breakdowns and faults
- Ensure work practice conforms to safety regulations and procedures
- Ensure that all preventive maintenance (electrical) is conducted as defined in the system
- Attend breakdowns as reported by Staff & Construction Engineers on immediate basis
- Submit correct information about start time and end time of maintenance activity
- Ensures tidiness and cleanliness of workshop facilities and all equipment.
- Traice fault, diagnose (troubleshot) and repair all electrical faults in the heavy plants, machineries and trucks
- Check if in need of repair or replace of STARTER Motor, Alternator, Harness and Electrical Wiring of heavy equipment
- General electrical fault repairs
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- High school diploma or Vocational diploma
- Certification as a heavy electrician
- Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment electrician
- Understanding of computer testing technologies.
- Ability to lift heavy machinery.
- Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
- Ability to work after-hours if required. Good communication skills.
- knowledge of using F7S-G scanner for troubleshooting
- should be able to repair Starter motors , alternator motors , should be able to repair Hitachi ZX -3 model machines , capable of doing general wiring of trucks , machines and vehicles .
