Job Description
- Measure, cut, and install insulation materials on mechanical systems (piping, ductwork, tanks, etc.) Fabricate, cut, and install metal cladding (aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel) over insulation
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, isometric diagrams, and project specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Apply vapor barriers, adhesives, sealants, and mechanical fasteners to complete installations Ensure insulation and cladding meet industry standards and site-specific requirements
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Proven experience in insulation and cladding installation, preferably in industrial or commercial settings Ability to read and interpret construction and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of insulation materials such as mineral wool, fiberglass, foam glass, and cellular glass Skilled in metal cutting, bending, and forming techniques Physically capable of lifting materials, climbing ladders, and working in challenging positio
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship
