Job Description
- Installation & Alignment o Install, dismantle, and align rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and motors using precision tools and techniques.
- Maintenance & Repair o Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime. o Perform repairs and part replacements as required.
- Troubleshooting o Identify mechanical failures and determine root causes. o Resolve mechanical issues efficiently to restore equipment functionality
- Experience: of hands-on experience in a petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environment.
- Technical Competencies: o Proficient in precision alignment and balancing of rotating equipment o Skilled in using measurement instruments (e.g., dial indicators, micrometers, laser alignment tools)
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and vibration analysis • Certifications (Preferred): o Valid safety certifications (e.g., Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work Permit)
- Soft Skills: o Strong communication and teamwork abilities o Analytical and problem-solving mindset o Ability to follow instructions and perform under pressure
- Physical Requirements: o Must be able to work in physically demanding environments including heights, confined spaces, high temperatures, and noisy conditions
