Job Description
- A laboratory technician performs tests, analyses, and experiments according to established procedures, analyzes and records data, maintains and calibrates equipment, and ensures the lab is clean and organized. Key duties include preparing specimens,
- Performing tests: Conduct laboratory tests and experiments, which may include analyzing bodily fluids, tissues, chemicals, or environmental samples.
- Data and record keeping: Accurately record, analyze, and report test results. Maintain detailed logs and equipment records.
- Equipment maintenance: Set up, calibrate, clean, and maintain lab equipment, including troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance.
- Specimen and sample management: Receive, label, and safely store samples. Prepare specimens for analysis.
- Inventory and supplies: Manage lab supplies, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory of reagents, chemicals, and glassware.
- General lab upkeep: Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the lab environment and properly dispose of waste.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Prof'l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof'l License Exam) holder.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
