Job Description
- Operate the drip irrigation system according to crop stage requirements.
- Monitor and program irrigation times and volumes in line with weather conditions and crop needs.
- Conduct regular inspections of pipes, valves, emitters, and pumps to detect leaks or faults.
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments to keep the system running efficiently.
- Monitor soil moisture and report on the hydration status of crops.
- Coordinate with the rest of the agricultural team to ensure irrigation is effectively integrated into the production plan.
- Contribute to sustainability by promoting efficient use of water resources.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Prior experience in handling and maintaining drip irrigation systems.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pump operation.
