Job Description
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and portion standards.
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Ensure food freshness, taste, and presentation meet company and customer expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, utensils, and storage areas at all times.
- Follow food safety standards and comply with hygiene regulations (as required by Hungarian labor law).
- Assist in menu planning, costing, and inventory control as instructed by Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
- Store food supplies properly and check for spoilage or expiration.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours.
- Attend daily briefings and trainings for continuous improvement.
- Report to the Head Chef or Manager any kitchen issues, equipment defects, or shortages.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- TESDA Cookery NC II or Commercial Cooking NC II Certificate
- Food Handler’s Certificate (preferred).
- Able to understand and communicate in English (basic communication level required).
- Knowledge of basic Hungarian greetings or phrases is an advantage.
- Must possess a positive work attitude, discipline, and teamwork.
