Job Description
- Measure and cut materials to desired specifications using hand and power tools
- Construct and assemble formwork for concrete foundations, walls, and slabs
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to determine project requirements
- Ensure formwork is level, plumb, and square, using levels, lasers, and other measuring tools
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in the formwork
- Remove formwork after concrete has cured
- Inspect and maintain formwork to ensure it is in good condition and safe for use
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Must have at least 5 years working experience as a Formwork Carpenter
- Must know how to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- With good English communication skills
- Proficiency in constructing and installing wall, column, beam, and slab formwork according to project specifications
- Strong mathematical skills to calculate measurements, quantities, and angles required for formwork construction
