Job Description
- Recognize and rectify ware defects
- Adhere to job specifications at the start and during production runs.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspection of bottles every two hours
- Check mould equipment before installing on the machine
- Check bottles visually after mould equipment change for mould related defects
- Follow swab board instructions in absence of Jr. Operator
- Assist in job changes and job set up
- Inform relieving operator on the status of the job
- Inform Line inspector of all defective ware entering the lehr (critical defects jam ups)
- Strictly adhere to safety rules
- Record any mechanical or electronics problems in operator’s log book
- Fill out operators check sheet correctly
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic); Engineering(Industrial); Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Glass bottle manufacturing Industry is required
- Knowledgeable in Ring Spanner, Adjustable Spanner, Spanner Hammer
