Job Description
- Serve as the “resident expert” for refrigeration processes, specialised in Ammonia and Freon refrigerant
- Plan and implement CAPEX strategy for Frozen chain business, not limited to ammonia refrigeration, commercial refrigeration, and ice cream process line.
- Design or implement a frozen chain maintenance strategy adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies
- Develop procedures for the coordination of frozen chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance
- Develop a training strategy for key critical refrigeration roles with the assistance of L&D
- Development of Frozen chain strategy to support the route to Market Growth in Ice Cream products
- Strategic Succession Planning and Paradise Leaders Program

- International/Industry Best Practice Exposure Coach & Mentoring Program
- Aligning behaviours to PCL Leadership Model and Inter-company secondments

- Manage the recruitment of new frozen chain refrigeration mechanics Manage the development of identified refrigeration key roles on the Group Succession Plan
- Conduct skills matrix assessment for frozen chain and ensure the company policy is understood and implemented across the frozen chain group
- Ensure ammonia refrigeration plants are compliant with ISO 5149:2014 Refrigerating systems and heat pumps – safety and environmental requirements
- Adhere to all safe working procedures and ensure a safe workplace. and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to Health & Safety.
- Compliance with OH&S and environmental standards, legislative requirements, policies and procedures.
- Manage the recruitment of new frozen chain refrigeration mechanics
- Manage the development of identified refrigeration key roles on the Group Succession Plan
- Conduct skills matrix assessment for frozen chain
- Ensure the company policy is understood and implemented across the frozen chain group
- The Frozen Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations of the frozen goods supply chain to enhance process efficiency and productivity
- This individual will be accountable for the planning and execution of capital expenditures and maintenance activities related to the organization's frozen products division.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Business Studies/Administration/Management; Engineering(Industrial) or similar fields.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business is required. Master’s degree preferred
- Preferred project management certification
- 8 to 10 years of experience in frozen chain management, not limited to refrigerated containers, display freezers, and beverage coolers
- Knowledge of ammonia and freon refrigeration safety, operation, and maintenance standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven effective management skills. Strong presentation skills
