Job Description
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons based on Start Smart’s curriculum and learning standards
- Participate in curriculum development and contribute creative ideas to enhance teaching materials and learning strategies
- Organize and maintain a clean, well-structured, and stimulating classroom environment
- Promote a positive and respectful learning atmosphere
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure classroom discipline and student safety at all times
- Participate in marketing activities such as school events, open days, and promotional campaigns
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and parents to support student learning and development
- Complete required administrative tasks, such as lesson plans, reports, and student records
- Attend training sessions, team meetings, and professional development activities
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Education/Teaching/Training or similar fields.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- LET passer (Licensure Examination for Teachers) – required.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent English communication skills – both written and oral.
- A positive, energetic attitude and strong classroom management skills
- Has ESL teaching experience or has worked as an ESL teacher/instructor
- Has Certification in ESL (e.g., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA)
- Certification in IELTS or TOEFL instruction is highly preferred, but not required
