Job Description
- - Review and approval of extra high voltage (132kV) gas insulated switchgear’s design basis, engineering specifications, vendor print, reports, drawings and calculations
- - Review and approval of extra high voltage (132kV) underground cable’s route layouts, duct bank/trench and reports, calculations
- - Involve in procurement activities by reviewing and checking Material Requisition, Purchase Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation, Vendor print package, etc.
- - Technical knowledge of GIS, Telecom, Cable engineering as per KAHARAMAA specification, standard and practices.
- - Working knowledge of codes and standards relative to electrical (extra high voltage) engineering.
- - Skills related to SPEL (Smart Plant Electrical) software and MS office
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- - 132kV GIS & U/G Cable’s engineering, construction and commissioning capability
- - Professional experience and extensive knowledge in extra high voltage GIS/Cable in QATAR/related to KARAMAA
