Job Description
- A construction storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the safe storage of materials, and maintaining accurate records to support construction operations.
- • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of construction materials and supplies. Ensure that inventory levels are maintained and that materials are organized and easily accessible.
- • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns. Prepare regular reports on inventory levels and usage to assist in budgeting and planning.
- • Material Inspection: Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity, ensuring they meet project specifications before acceptance.
- • Order Management: Prepare and submit purchase orders for materials as needed, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all materials are stored safely and securely, adhering to safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents and damage.
- • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction personnel to ensure that materials are available when needed and that any issues are promptly addressed
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
