Job Description
- Implement the assigned maintenance work as requested by Supervisor or the foreman
- Obtain maintenance adjustments before putting the elevator in power
- Coordinate and arrange with the foreman all necessary tools and materials required for the project.
- Troubleshoot the elevator & follow the routine maintenance of his rout assigned by maintenance Supervisor.
- Coordinate with the foreman/supervisor to undertake major reconditioning jobs and minor modifications as requested by clients
- Store equipment/tools securely to avoid any damages that may occur according to MELSA’s Policies & Procedures
- Make adjustments in maintenance jobs and communicate any identified issues to maintenance supervisor and quality engineers
- Identify snags/defects and escalate to rectify before final handover according to MELSA standards
- Follow the in-process auditing/corrective measures and the quality assurance reviews throughout all projects’ phases
- Receive a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and use them as per instructed by foreman and maintenance engineer
- Inform the foreman/supervisors of any safety related accidents upon occurrence to ensure correcting the situation in a timely manner and devising suitable preventive procedures to avoid the reoccurrence of such incidents
- Follow and implement auditing, spot-checking and safety policies, procedures and mechanism for proper safety at the workplace
- Report malfunctioning safety tools/equipment in order to repair/replace
- Should have driving skills with a valid Saudi driving license to visit different sites for maintenance activities.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Others); Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Knowledge of elevator/escalator design, installation, and maintenance
