Job Description
- Erecting and Dismantling. Building and taking down scaffolding structures according to project requirements and safety standards.
- Working with prefabricated or modular scaffolding components, potentially including systems like Pro Scaff, Ringlock, Quick Stage, Tube & Clip, and other proprietary systems.
- Regularly inspecting scaffolding structures for defects, wear and tear, and ensuring they meet safety standards.
- Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately position scaffolding components.
- May be required to keep records of inspections, safety assessments, and materials used.
- Working closely with other construction workers, foremen, and supervisors to ensure scaffolding supports project needs.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Others) or similar fields.
- A minimum of two years of experience in scaffolding within the industrial sector is a common requirement.
- To be able to work at heights and lift heavy weights, demonstrating physical strength and stamina.
- The ability to interpret and understand scaffold drawings is crucial.
- Good English skills are often needed for communication and following instructions.
