Job Description
- Keep tube mill running at peak performance.
- From roller setup to troubleshooting.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality steel tubes roll off the line.
- Configure rollers and set up production line.
- Feed raw materials and monitor machine operation.
- Supervise assistants and guide workflow.
- Conducts quality inspections, isolate defects and troubleshoot root cause.
- Perform basic maintenance to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Meet or exceed production plan output. Maintain scrap rate below 1%. Minimize machine downtime.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum 8 years on tube mill equipment.
- Welding, safety or maintenance certifications preferred. English proficiency an asset.
- Strong teamwork and problem solving mindset.
- Clear communication and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive in reporting issues and driving continuous improvement.
