Job Description
- Perform “Hold”, “Witness” and “Surveillance” inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.
- Inspect material and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements for proper handling, storage and protection at SAUDI ARAMCO facilities and/or construction sites.
- Monitor Contractor’s Quality Systems, records and Quality Personnel for compliance with requirements
- Review and evaluate the Contractor’s Quality document submittals
- Witness on-site and off-site material and installations tests for compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
- Record legibly and accurately all controversial and non-complying construction practices, materials and equipment and report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution.
- Write inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment Deficiency Report (EDRs) as needed.
- To do work as planned and scheduled with a better professional approach and to report the findings in the required format.
- To work safely during inspection activities and to advise others to work safely.
- To maintain the confidentiality requirements in each activity during the service period.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- With at least four 4 years of experience in the relevant inspection discipline. OR two 2 years of industrial/technical.
- Should have National Certification Program Construction Code Inspector (NCPCCI) or NFPA 70 Certified or equivalent.
- Should satisfy the requirements of a fully qualified Instrument Technician/ Engineer meeting the requirements laid out by the Instrument Society of America or the Institute of Measurement Control.
- Shall have awareness of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Will ensure contractor’s work in compliance with all applicable requirements including without limitation SAUDI ARAMCO engineering requirements, standards, procedures, specifications, and Schedule Q of the project contract.
- Will provide training to others as and when required. Duties may require physical exertion, working outdoors, confined spaces, high elevations, and remote work locations, and on or off-shore
