Job Description
- • Lead and coordinate SIMOPS activities during commissioning across construction, energization, vendor, and operational interfaces.
- • Ensure safe execution of simultaneous operations involving live systems, energized equipment, and ongoing construction.
- • Interface with construction, operations, engineering, HSE, and OEM/vendor teams to manage daily SIMOPS tasks.
- • Oversee HV/LV energization, pressured system handovers, and permit-to-work (PTW) processes
- • Enforce strict compliance with isolation regimes, SIMOPS risk assessments, and operational readiness procedures.
- • Lead SIMOPS meetings, track action items, and resolve inter-discipline conflicts proactively.
- • Support the development and implementation of SIMOPS management plans, HSE procedures, and emergency response protocols.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Others) or similar fields.
- • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- • Minimum 10 years of experience in commissioning, construction, or operations within the hydrogen, ASU, refinery, or petrochemical sectors
- • At least 3 years in a SIMOPS leadership role, managing complex multi-stakeholder environments.
- • Strong knowledge of: o SIMOPS planning and execution o HV/LV energization procedures o Pressurized system commissioning o PTW systems and isolation regimes o OEM/Vendor coordination during commissioning
- • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- • Proven ability to work under pressure and in high-risk operational environments.
- • Strong HSE awareness and commitment to safety culture.
- • Preferred: Experience on Aramco, ADNOC, or other major projects and prior involvement in large-scale project startup and operational readiness programs.
