Job Description
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines (fiber or CO2) for cutting metal sheets and components.
- Read CAD drawings and nesting layouts to ensure precise cutting paths.
- Monitor machine operations, adjust cutting parameters, and replace consumables as needed.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of laser cutting equipment.
- Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, edge quality, and burrs.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Technical diploma or certification in mechanical technology, CNC operation, or manufacturing.
- Familiar with laser cutting software (e.g., BySoft, Lantek, or similar).
- Understanding of metal types, thicknesses, and laser-cutting parameters.
