Job Description
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision parts and components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and part specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Familiarity with FANUC, Siemens, or Mazak controls (depending on machines used).
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, feeds and speeds.
- Experience with materials used in automotive and military applications (e.g., high-strength alloys).
- Basic programming/editing skills for G-code and M-code are a plus.
