Job Description
- 1. Familiar with generator operation, load management and monitoring.
- 2. Skilled in diesel engine diagnostics, dismantling, assembling, and tuning.
- 3. Ability to do preventive maintenance of the generators and heavy lifting equipment.
- 4. Ability to overhaul the diesel engines from up to 1000KVA capacity
- 5. In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.
- 6. Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical diagrams
- 7. Ability to work independently or within a team under minimal supervision.
- 8. Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments.
- 9. Basic knowledge of electrical circuits related to engine operation.
- 10. To carry out maintenance/repair work safely & efficiently and complete tasks assigned by his supervisor in a timely manner.
- 11. Repair or overhaul engines, including pistons, valves, fuel systems, cylinder heads, and injectors.
- 12. Maintain daily operation logs and report abnormalities; Ensure fuel levels, coolant, and lubrication are adequate.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic); Engineering(Industrial) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Operate the generator as per schedule, load or emergency requirements and monitor the states during operation.
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot diesel engine issues
- Perform regular preventive maintenance (oil changes, filter replacement, coolant checks, etc.).
