Job Description
- Conduct routine inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of escalators and moving walkways.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
- Repair or replace defective parts such as steps, handrails, motors, gears, chains, and control systems.
- Test equipment for performance, safety, and compliance with building codes and manufacturer standards.
- Keep tools and work areas in proper condition, ensuring a safe and organized environment
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- High school diploma or vocational/technical course in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
- Proven experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining escalators and moving walkways.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, hydraulics, and mechanical drive systems.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights, in tight spaces, and lift heavy components.
- Familiarity with safety codes, building regulations, and escalator maintenance standards.
