Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate all valve installation, repair, testing, and commissioning activities. Ensure correct assembly, calibration, and alignment of different types of valves (gate, globe, ball, check, control, safety/relief valves, etc.).
- Review and implement method statements, ITPs, and risk assessments for valve works. Lead troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of valves to ensure optimal operation. Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspection and certification of valves.
- Manage valve workshop activities, including dismantling, inspection, reassembly, and pressure testing. Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and international codes (ASME, API, ISO). Plan manpower, materials, and tools to meet pro
- Monitor subcontractors’ valve-related activities and ensure quality and safety standards. Support commissioning and start-up teams in valve operation verification.
- Maintain proper documentation, inspection records, and test certificates for all valves. Conduct toolbox talks and enforce strict compliance with HSE requirements.
