Job Description
- Inspect scaffolding structures during erection, modification, and dismantling to ensure safety and compliance. Verify scaffolding is built in accordance with drawings, design specifications, and load requirements.
- Conduct scaffold tagging and maintain inspection records. Ensure scaffolding materials, fittings, and boards are safe, certified, and suitable for use.
- Identify and report unsafe practices, hazards, or structural defects, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with scaffold supervisors and foremen to ensure safe work practices.
- Provide guidance to scaffolding crews on correct erection techniques and safety measures. Conduct periodic and ad-hoc scaffold inspections as per project requirements. Ensure compliance with international standards (BS EN 12811, OSHA, ISO) and comp
- Prepare inspection reports, daily logs, and documentation for audits. Support safety toolbox talks and scaffold safety training initiatives.
