Job Description
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and project quality requirements. Perform inspections of piping, equipment, welding, fabrication, and installations to ensure compliance with applicable standards (ASME, API, AWS, etc.).
- Develop and implement inspection and test plans (ITPs) for mechanical works. Monitor and verify welding procedures, WPS/PQR, and welder qualifications.
- Supervise non-destructive testing (NDT) activities and review results. Conduct material verification and ensure traceability of mechanical components.
- Maintain quality documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and deviation reports. Ensure contractors and subcontractors follow quality control procedures.
- Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective/preventive actions. Participate in QA/QC meetings, audits, and project quality reviews. Support mechanical completion and pre-commissioning activities.
