Job Description
- Supervise and direct rigging crews in lifting, moving, and positioning heavy equipment, steel structures, and piping systems. Review and implement lifting plans, rigging drawings, and risk assessments.
- Ensure all rigging operations comply with company standards, project specifications, and safety regulations. Inspect lifting equipment (slings, shackles, cranes, hoists) and ensure proper certification and usage.
- Coordinate with crane operators, rigging engineers, and supervisors for complex lifting activities. Conduct pre-lift meetings, toolbox talks, and ensure permits are in place before execution.
- Allocate manpower, tools, and equipment for rigging tasks and maintain productivity. Monitor rigging operations to ensure safe execution and report any hazards or incidents.
- Maintain accurate records of rigging activities, equipment inspections, and lifting gear usage. Train and mentor riggers to follow safe and efficient lifting practices.

- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
