Job Description
- Lead and supervise QC engineers, inspectors, and technicians across construction and fabrication activities. Review and approve project quality plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and procedures.
- Conduct inspections and audits of materials, equipment, welding, piping, structural, and mechanical work. Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards (ASME, API, AWS, ISO), and client requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor and vendor quality performance; review and approve supplier quality documentation. Coordinate non-destructive testing (NDT), dimensional checks, hydrotests, and other quality verification activities.
- Investigate non-conformances, recommend corrective actions, and ensure implementation of quality improvements. Provide technical guidance on quality issues and ensure adherence to QA/QC standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain detailed QC reports, quality records, and turnover documentation. Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover quality requirements.
