Job Description
- Provide grooming services for men's hair, beards, and mustaches
- Cutting and styling: Barbers cut, trim, and shape hair using clippers, combs, scissors, and blow-out guns.
- Shaving: Barbers shave beards and mustaches using razors.
- Hair treatments: Barbers shampoo, color, lighten, and condition hair. They may also apply products like mousse or serum.
- Facial hair grooming: Barbers trim and groom facial hair with combs, razors, scissors, and clippers.
- Sanitation: Barbers clean and disinfect all tools and work areas to maintain salon sanitation and health standards.
- Barbers need to have excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- They should also be able to stand for long periods of time.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others; Personal Services & Building/Ground Services or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
