Job Description
- Assembling and installing metal structures for conveyor systems and automated storage systems, including framework, supports, and components.
- Cutting, shaping, and fabricating metal parts to exact specifications using various tools and techniques, such as welding, bolting, and riveting.
- Reading and understanding technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
- Inspecting completed work for accuracy, proper alignment, and adherence to quality standards.
- Responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining the metal frameworks and components of these systems.
- Identifying and resolving issues that arise during installation, maintenance, or operation of the systems.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Others) or similar fields.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and other metalworking tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other professionals.
- Previous experience in metal fabrication, structural installation, or conveyor system maintenance is often required.
