Job Description
- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, making salads, and putting together entrees
- Ensure that kitchen area, equipment, and utensils are cleaned Help cooks with kitchen tasks during peak hours
- Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food is stored in proper containers and at proper storage and freezer temperatures
- Plate dishes in a way that’s attractive to the customer Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared
- Dispose of trash and waste as per the restaurant protocol Assist in unloading and storing deliveries Adhere to all food, health, and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience as a kitchen helper/ine cook
- Supports the kitchen staff in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. They assist in basic food preparation, washing and cleaning duties and ensure the kitchen operations smoothly
