Job Description
- Set up printing presses and related equipment according to job specifications.
- Load paper, ink, and printing plates or dies into the machinery. Adjust machine settings, such as ink flow, speed, and pressure, for optimal print quality.
- Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of printing equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues or malfunctions during operation.
- Manage the print job workflow, prioritizing tasks and ensuring deadlines are met. Keep detailed records of production, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Basic computer skills are often needed for operating certain machines, creating reports, and entering data into databases.
- Familiarity with different printing techniques and the materials used (like ink and paper) is important.
