Job Description
- Diagnose faults in diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, and suspension systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and component replacements.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and fix faults.
- Adhere to safety and environmental regulations at all times. Maintain accurate service records and job cards.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- 3 years of hands-on experience as a heavy diesel mechanic.
- Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Mechanics (Cert III or equivalent).
- Experience working with trucks, trailers. Field service experience is highly desirable.
- With Valid HG class driver’s license.
