Job Description
- • Cleaning surfaces prior to and after surface preparation to specification.
- • Conducting masking/encapsulation.
- • Mixing paint according to instructions.
- • Applying coatings via spray (Airless & Conventional), Brush & Roller to specification.
- • Performing basic quality control functions during application such as testing WFT.
- • Conducting works in various locations such as confined space and working at heights.
- • Responsible for the maintenance of equipment in accordance with QC standards.
- • Ensure that tools and equipment are maintained in a clean, complete and safe condition.
- • Continuously monitor quality of work.
- • Measure and record batch numbers and equipment serial numbers.
- • Follow all safety instructions and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Industrial Painting.
- • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in site painting.
- • Experience applying two-pack pants via Brush, Roller or Spray applications.
- • Trade certificate in Painting & Decorating or Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application.
- • Defense, Industrial or Marine industry experience.
- • Able to undergo extensive pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- • Strong work ethic with proven work history.
- • Positive and proactive approach to safety.
- • Willingness to work overtime.
- • HRL (Rigging / Dogman, EWP, Forklift).
- • Tickets (Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights).’
- • Must have a valid Driver’s License
- • Must be at least a graduate of 1-year vocational course or Completed at least 1 year in college.
