Job Description
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut (shearing, plasma, laser), and shape sheet metal components with high accuracy
- Operate bending machines, rollers, presses, and hand tools to form metal parts
- Perform welding (GTAW, GMAW), riveting, soldering, and brazing for fabrication and assembly
- Finish fabricated components using filing, grinding, polishing, and related processes
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in measuring, cutting (shearing, plasma, laser), shaping, and assembling sheet metal components
- Proficient in using bending machines, rollers, presses, and various hand tools
- Experienced in welding (GTAW, GMAW), riveting, soldering, and brazing
- Knowledgeable in polishing, filing, and grinding to finish components
- Familiar with various sheet metals (stainless steel, galvanized, copper, alloys
