Job Description
- Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
- Measure and mark materials accurately before cutting
- Operate cutting machinery (panel saws, table saws, circular saws, etc)
- Cut plywood, MDF, hardwood, and other sheet materials as per specifications
- Ensure all cut components are labeled and organized for assembly
- Maintain cutting tools and machines in good working condition
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
- Report material shortages or quality issues to supervisors
- Collaborate with production team and other carpenters to ensure workflow
- Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Architecture / Urban Studies or similar fields.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, etc.)
- Strong sense of design, space planning, and detailing
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Knowledge of materials, fittings, and practical design execution (preferred)
- Experience in modular or interior fit-out design is an added advantage
