Job Description
- The Diesel Fitter is responsible for carrying out general mechanical work including repairs, attending breakdowns and service work in a workshop and underground environment to heavy mobile and fixed plant and equipment.
- Experience working with underground mining equipment, particularly heavy mobile and shotcrete equipment
- Must have auto electrical knowledge
- Must have a manual driver's license
- Must be able to live and work in remote locations for extended times
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Must have completed at least 1 year in College or Vocational Course
