Job Description
- Prepare carbon fiber materials, including cutting, kitting, and pre-impregnation with resin (prepreg) as required.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of carbon fiber and resin materials to maintain integrity and performance.
- Perform manual or automated lay-up of carbon fiber layers onto molds or forms following engineering specifications.
- Use vacuum bagging, autoclave curing, or resin infusion techniques to form and cure composite parts.
- Set up and maintain molds, ensuring correct alignment, surface finish, and temperature control for accurate part formation.
- Assist in creating or modifying tooling for custom carbon fiber components.
- Trim cured components using CNC machines, saws, or hand tools to precise tolerances.
- Sand, polish, and finish parts to meet aesthetic and structural requirements.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Vocational Training in composite materials or automotive repair may suffice for hands-on fabrication roles.
- Capable of delivering precision and durability in work.
