Job Description
- MANAGE, MAINTAIN AND ADMINISTER COMPANY'S TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE, AND APPLICATION SYSTEMS TO ENSURE MAXIMUM OPERATING PERFORMANCE AND RELIABILITY.
- PROVIDE TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP AND TRAINING TO THE IT TEAM, DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT IT POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, INCLUDING THOSE FOR ARCHITECTURE, SECURITY, DR/BCP STANDARDS, PURCHASING, AND SERVICE PROVISION.
- WORK CLOSELY WITH IT VENDORS IN PNG AND IN AUSTRALIA. NEGOTIATE AND ADMINISTER VENDOR CONTRACTS AND SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENTS.. MAINTAIN ALL SOFTWARE AND SUPPORT LICENSES
- LEAD IT PROJECTS, INCLUDING THE DESIGN AND DEPLOYMENT OF NEW IT SYSTEMS AND SERVICES, SUPPORT AND OPTIMIZE SYSTEMS BACKUPS, BCP/DP AND TESTING.
- LIAISE WITH THE MANAGEMENT TEAM TO UNDERSTAND BUSINESS STRATEGY AND CHALLENGES AND PROVIDE TECHNOLOGY TO HELP SUPPORT THE BUSINESS'S PLANS
- COMMUNICATION AND INTERACT WITH THE GROUP IT TEAM IN AUSTRALIA AND COLLABORATE WHERE APPROPRIATE
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Computer Science/Information technology or similar fields.
- MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS AN IT MANAGER, PREFERABLY IN THE RETAIL INDUSTRY,
- BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OR RELATED FIELD ( MBA/M.SC. IS A PLUS)
- STRONG BACKGROUND IN NETWORK AND SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION, INCLUDING CISCO, FORTINET, MICROSOFT, VMWARE, AND SQL SERVER
- PROVEN LEADERSHIPS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS, WITH EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND ANALYTICAL ABILITIES
- HANDS- ON EXPERIENCE IN IT INFRASTRUCTURE, CYBERSECURITY, AND DISASTER RECOVERY PLANNING
