Job Description
- Create precise 2D and 3D technical drawings for CNC routers, laser cutting machines, and other fabrication equipment.
- Interpret design concepts and transform them into machine-ready files (G-code or compatible formats).
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of drawings.
- Prepare cutting paths and optimize material usage for wood, acrylic etc, Support in machine setup and calibration if needed.
- Maintain an organized library of drawings and files for recurring projects.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Architecture / Urban Studies or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) – required
- Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., ArtCAM, Fusion 360, Aspire) is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of file preparation for CNC routers and laser cutting machines
- Understanding of material properties (wood, MDF, acrylic, metals), Ability to assist in basic machine maintenance or troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in operating CNC routers and/or laser cutting machines (is an advantage)
