Job Description
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across multiple field sites.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, diagnose network faults, and implement solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform routine network monitoring and performance tuning.
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems including IP and analog cameras.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure all cameras, recording devices, and storage systems are functioning properly.
- Assist in retrieving and managing recorded footage for security and compliance purposes.
- Deploy and maintain electronic access control systems (e.g., RFID, biometric readers).
- Integrate access control with other systems such as time and attendance or security monitoring.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions in locking mechanisms, card readers, and user authentication systems.
- Support the installation and testing of fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, and related hardware.
- Conduct routine checks and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to any system faults or alarms, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
- Install and maintain public address and voice alarm (PAVA) systems in buildings or industrial sites.
- Test and ensure intelligibility and coverage of announcements for emergency preparedness.
- Work with safety officers to align system functionality with evacuation plans.
- Set up and support wireless access points and mesh networks for field operations.
- Conduct site surveys to ensure optimal placement and signal strength.
- Resolve connectivity and interference issues in outdoor and complex environments.
- Travel to client or remote sites to provide on-site technical support and system maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to support infrastructure upgrades and deployments.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Computer Science/Information technology; Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Willingness to work up to 48·-hours-per week under a standard service contract.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Willing to commit to a minimum 3-year employment term.
