Job Description
- Inspect and maintain equipment such as rolling mills, straightening, cutting, and bending machines.
- Lubricate moving parts (gears, bearings, hydraulic systems) to reduce wear. Replace worn-out components (blades, rollers, conveyor belts).
- Graduate of Mechanical Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance. Carry out emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical issues like misalignment, hydraulic leaks, or motor malfunctions. Familiarity with hydraulic jacks and presses.
- Collaborate with electricians to resolve electro-mechanical problems. Verify machine calibration to ensure accurate rebar dimensions (length, bending angles).
- Proficiency with hand tools (wrenches, grinders, torque wrenches). Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, laser alignment tools).
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
