Job Description
- Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems and equipment according to project plans and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals to determine system layout and installation procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and service tasks on HVAC systems including cleaning, testing, and calibrating equipment.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and other trades during installation and commissioning stages.
- Install and connect wiring and controls for HVAC systems.
- Maintain detailed service records and reports for each project.
- Follow safety protocols and wear proper protective equipment on-site.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician in construction and building projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including split units, VRF/VRV, chillers, ducting, and ventilation.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Skilled in handling tools and equipment related to HVAC work.
- Understanding of building and safety regulations.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Certification in HVAC technology or related trade license is preferred.
