Job Description
- Section assembly - flat panels, T-bars, side shell and volume section assembling.
- Block erection on pre-erection stage
- Hull erection in dry dock - Straightening of the ship hull: decks, bulkheads, shell.
- Prefabrication and installation of various types of steel outfitting.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Work experience in sections and blocks assembly at pre-erection, hull assembly stages;
- Experience of side shell, flat, volume sections assembling and blocks erection;
- Ability to read drawings (ability to scale, identify and evaluate other engineering systems, etc.);
- Ability to read technical symbols (production drawings) for hull welding;
- Knowledge of standards used in shipbuilding (IACS, 5817, ISO 8501-3, etc.);
- Knowledge of English/Russian; Responsibility, diligence.
