Job Description
- Meeting with clients and design agents to discuss upholstery ideas.
- Repairing damaged upholstery or replacing entire sections, including seats, headliners, and door panels.
- Installing new upholstery, ensuring proper alignment, finishing, and stitching.
- Choosing appropriate materials like leather, vinyl, or fabric, based on the job's needs and the client's preferences.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are readily available.
- Working with clients to understand their needs and preferences for custom upholstery, providing advice and guidance.
- Stretching out and installing fabric or leather coverings.
- Staying updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance skill sets and service offerings.
- Smoothing out imperfections. Conducting quality checks on completed orders.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- INSTALL LEATHER SEATS, PANELS, DASHBOARDS & INTERIOR TRIM IN VEHICLES WITH PRECISION AND ACCURACY
- MANUFACTURE AND REPAIR LEATHER COMPONENTS USED IN VEHICLE INTERIORS
- RESTORE DAMAGED OR WORN LEATHER UPHOLSTERY, SEATS, DASHBOARDS AND OTHER AUTOMOTIVE INTERIOR PARTS.
- PREPARE CUT AND STITCH LEATHER ACCORDING TO PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS
