Job Description
- Install built-in and customized cabinets, wardrobes, vanities, and modular kitchen systems according to design plans and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and fit components with precision using hand and power tools.
- Ensure all installations are level, plumb, and secure, and make on-site adjustments when necessary.
- Work with materials such as MDF, plywood, hardwood, laminate, and other cabinet finishes.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other trades on-site to ensure timely and accurate installation.
- Perform minor modifications and touch-ups on-site to match design intent.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area during and after installation.
- Build or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floor, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proven experience in cabinet making, custom furniture installation, or modular kitchen installation
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, cabinetry joinery, and installation best practices.
- Ability to read architectural and shop drawings.
- Skilled in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Good understanding of measurements, leveling, and alignment.
- High attention to detail and craftsmanship.
