Job Description
- Lay bricks, blocks, or stones to construct walls, partitions, and other structures.
- Mix mortar or grout and apply to surfaces.
- Plaster walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth or textured finish.
- Cut and shape bricks, blocks, or tiles using hand and power tools.
- Install tiles, marble, or decorative stone as needed (if cross-skilled).
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine job specifications.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Skilled in bricklaying, plastering, tiling, or stone setting.
- Knowledgeable in proper mixing of cement and other masonry materials.
- Ability to work from drawings or blueprints is an advantage.
