Job Description
- Managing a portfolio of clients to prepare statutory financial statement and auditing in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards
- Reconciling accounts, verifying transactions, and maintaining subsidiary accounts and the general ledger.
- Recording, verifying, and consolidating transactions related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other areas.
- Working with various accounting software and systems.
- Assisting with the development of budgets and forecasts
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or similar fields.
- Preferably membership of a recognized accounting body
- minimum of 5 years financial accounting and auditing experience with a accountancy firm
- comprehensive knowledge of Xero accounting functions and setups to enable conversions and training of personnel
- Experience in working in a Windows PC computerized environment and in particular with the following applications Microsoft Office & MYOB
- Be fluent in English or French and Bislama would be advantageous
