Job Description
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical works across low-voltage, medium-voltage, and high-voltage systems, based on project plans, specifications, and site conditions.
- Analyze drawings, technical documents, and scope of work to identify material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed BOQs and pricing summaries, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to align estimates with execution strategies and budget constraints.
- Support tender submissions, value engineering proposals, and cost revisions, while staying updated on market trends and supplier pricing.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in electrical estimation within construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of low-, medium-, and high-voltage systems, including applicable codes and standards.
- Strong proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience as a project engineer, superintendent, or quality control inspector is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in estimation software and tools, such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, Bluebeam, and specialized electrical estimating platforms.
