Job Description
- Review project tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand the scope of work.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil works, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Develop and maintain a cost database for civil construction materials and labor rates.
- Perform quantity take-offs (QTO) and bill of quantities (BOQ) based on project plans and drawings.
- Prepare and submit tender proposals, including cost breakdowns, schedules, and risk assessments.
- Attend site visits or pre-bid meetings to gather project-specific information.
- Work with the project team to identify and evaluate risks, assumptions, and exclusions in the estimation process.
- Assist with post-bid clarification, negotiation, and contract award processes.
- Monitor and track the progress of awarded contracts and report on cost deviations during project execution.
- Ensure all estimates are in compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Prof'l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof'l License Exam) holder.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CCS, ProEst, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, equipment rates, and industry standards.
- Experience in preparing accurate and comprehensive BOQs, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
- Familiarity with building codes, construction regulations, and environmental standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
