Job Description
- Carefor and managelivestock, including feeding, watering, and ensuring their overall well-being (e.g., cows, pigs, sheep, etc.)
- Monitor animal health, checking for signs of illness or injury and reporting concerns to supervisors or veterinarians
- Assist with breeding activities, including caring for pregnant animals, assisting during births, and ensuring newborns are healthy
- Maintain and repair equipment, such as feeding machines, fences, and watering systems
- Manage crops and pastures for feeding animals, including planting, harvesting, and ensuring proper soil management
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Candidate must have passports.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
- Knowledge of livestock care, including feeding, milking, breeding, and health monitoring
- Basicfarming skills, such as planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops or pastures
- Ability to operate farming machinery (e.g., tractors, plows) safely and effectively
- Familiar with safety protocols for handling animals, chemicals, and equipment
- Physical strength and stamina, as the jobmay require heavy lifting, long hours, and working in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail when monitoring animal health, farm tasks, and record-keeping
