Job Description
- Manage the care,feeding, andhealth of pigson the farm.
- Oversee breeding programs toensureoptimalgenetic quality and reproduction rates
- Maintain accurate breedingrecords,including tracking lineage and performance.
- Monitor pigs for signsof illness or injury and provide necessary treatment or medications.
- Ensure proper housing conditions, including cleanliness, ventilation, and temperature control.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Candidate must have passports.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
- Knowledge of pigbreeding,genetics, and general pig care.
- Familiarity with pig health, nutrition, and disease management practices.
- Ability to safely handle and manage livestock in various stages of growth.
- Experience with the birthing process and caring for newborn piglets.
- Physical stamina to performmanuallabor andwork long hours on the farm.
- Ability to work in a teamand collaborate with veterinarians or other farm staff.
